Washing: Always wash your garments inside-out using a cold water cycle. This helps preserve the colors and print while reducing wear.
Bleaches & Fabric Softeners: Avoid using bleaches or fabric softeners as they can damage the fabric and affect the longevity of the prints and embroidery.
Drying: Opt for tumble drying on low heat to prevent shrinkage and fading. For best results, flat dry your garments to further minimize shrinkage.
Ironing: Avoid ironing directly over designed areas. Iron inside-out to protect the prints and embroidery from damage.
Dry Cleaning: Do not dry clean your garments, as this can cause pilling and damage the fabric.
Embroidered Apparel:
Follow the care instructions on the labels for optimal preservation of the embroidery. Machine wash inside-out on a cold water cycle.
Avoid chlorine bleach and harsh chemicals that can discolor the thread.
Fabric Softeners:
Fabric softeners can cause issues depending on the type of print or fabric. Avoid using them on:
Screen Printed Shirts: Can lead to print fading.
Vinyl Printing Shirts: Can weaken adhesive, resulting in peeling.
Polyester, Moisture-Wicking, or Fire Retardant Materials: Can leave residues that compromise performance.
Preshrunk Apparel:
Our apparel is preshrunk and pre-washed to minimize shrinkage. Cotton/polyester blends are less likely to shrink, but if you have concerns, feel free to ask us.
